Watch Fergie's Fun 'Today' Show Concert Performance (VIDEO)

Fergie rounded off the week with a “Today” show concert on Friday. The singer performed live from New York City’s Rockefeller Plaza in celebration of the release of her latest album. Watch clips below!

On Friday, Fergie unveiled her long-awaited second album, Double Dutchess, eleven years after her breakout solo record hit the charts. In addition to unveiling 13 new tracks, featuring star-studded collaborations with the likes of Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross and even her four-year-old son Axl Jack, the 42-year-old star has also released a music video for every single song on the record.

Speaking of the album’s vulnerability, Fergie said in a recent interview with Marie Claire, “I think it was important to make honest songs, not only ones that are fun and hip-hop, or a fun dance pop song or a reggae song.” She added, “This is my time and place to get into those crevices of what’s going on inside… I’ve been through a lot in my life so that’s where I go. My therapy is writing it down and journaling.”

As Gossip Cop reported, Fergie and Josh Duhamel recently split after eight years of marriage. The newly-estranged spouses announced their separation in a joint statement earlier this week, revealing they broke up a few months ago but wanted to keep the news private until the time was right.

“With absolute love and respect we decided to separate as a couple earlier this year. To give our family the best opportunity to adjust, we wanted to keep this a private matter before sharing it with the public. We are and will always be united in our support of each other and our family,” they wrote. Prior to her performance, Fergie updated Hoda Kotb on how she’s doing post-split. “I’m doing really well. I’ve got nothing but love in my life and around me. Thank you so much,” she said. Watch clips below!
